Never in the life of me could this game be so addicting, especially Survivor mode! Tyler (Screaming Villains) did a great job of revamping this in Unity and I can't wait to see Night Trap 2 in the future!. I've always loved this game since I first got it on my Sega-CD (which I still us, although more for Dark Wizard, Shining Force and Eternal Champions). I am really impressed with the 25AE version of Night Trap. The video is the best it has ever looked and it's actually aged really well thanks to other "watch and hit button" game that have become very popular in the past few years (Five Nights as Freddy's for example). It's fun to play, has multiple endings, and requires several playthroughs to see all of the story - as cheesy as it might be. The extras, including a prototype mystery game, documentaries and the like, really increase the value of this game besides its infamous place in history. I actually feel Night Trap has aged extremely well. It's a better game now than it was 25 years ago thanks to video and hardware advancements.. well it pretty cool video not as crisp as i had hoped but still good. on first impressions of this game, Im surprised it got so many positive reviews. Its been a year since release and its still very buggy. I have no idea why but the audio stutters constantly which makes it annyoing to listen to. and even some achievements dont unlock. I cant believe its still in this disappointing condition. And its not nearly as fun as it would have you believe which is a shame. frustrating and tedious, I dont really enjoy keeping up with it. its neat to see the history about it at least, but I cant really recommend it at this price even if it was working the way it should.. Night Trap. I wont wate your time with a review of the actual game, rather instead this review will be about the entire package you are considering to buy. If you are interested in the game then this package is the equivelent of what ARROW and CRITERION release for films. Included are behind the scenes, interviews, tons of archival footage PLUS an additional entire game that spawned Night Trap. As far as value for the money, this is highly recommended for FMV fans. 9 / 10. Control issues, and not colourblind friendly. Shame, this is one I missed when I was younger, and I'd wanted to play.. Directing a snuff film is fun.. Night Trap has never been better. Nice.. Still loving this game. Can't wait to see what else Screaming Villains has in store.... I missed these old FVM b-movies! :)
